This project involved upgrading the lighting system in the Redlands Hospital carpark with energy-efficient solutions from Haneco. The primary goal was to significantly reduce energy consumption and operational costs while maintaining a well-lit environment for safety and security. State of the art smart sensor technology, integrated into the luminaires allows them to run at a reduced output when pedestrian & vehicle traffic is not present. When luminaires detect movement, they ramp up to peak brightness, allowing for safe movement, then ramp down when there is no activity area. This technology drastically reduces energy consumption, all without the need for additional wiring or control systems.
