From Ambient to Aesthetic: Precision Lighting Solutions for Norwest’s Premium Residence

The Greens lighting project at Norwest was a comprehensive, high-end residential installation requiring a full turnkey solution. The vision: deliver premium architectural lighting that aligned with the luxury interior finishes and smart home expectations of the client.

LUCESCO Downlights
Installed throughout bedrooms, bathrooms, living zones, and corridors to provide both ambient and task lighting. These downlights were selected for their high CRI and IP-rated durability.

  • DRR9W88WH3K24-DALI-IP54 – moisture-rated for wet areas
  • DRR9W80BK3K36-DALI – for general warm ambience
  • DRR3W37.5WH27K24-DALI-IP44 – compact, decorative accents

Feature Lighting
Designed to elevate the aesthetic impact of kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas.

  • PSO50W2300x160 – suspended kitchen/dining pendants
  • PSO10W180x170 – elegant smoked glass pendants in master suites
  • WLMO4W400x54 – sculptural wall lighting for visual framing

Custom Linear LED Lighting
Over 5km of custom-cut linear strip lighting was supplied and installed.

  • Profiles: LML10W17x15AL3K, LML10W16x16WH27K
  • Installed in feature joinery, ceilings, and wall details
  • Segmented with DALI drivers for precise control and scene setting

DALI Integration
A complete DALI control backbone was designed and implemented to support:

  • Scene control in living areas and master bedrooms
  • Automated dimming based on occupancy sensors
  • Centralised driver locations for reduced visual clutter
  • Seamless integration with smart home systems

Visual Cohesion & Aesthetics Warm white (2700K–3000K) tones and consistent fixture finishes created a unified lighting language throughout the entire residence, complementing the interior design and materials.
Reduced Maintenance All fixtures were selected with a focus on long lifespan, low maintenance, and robust IP ratings for wet areas.
Smart Control Ready The system is fully futureproofed for smart home upgrades and voice control systems, meeting the expectations of modern homeowners.
